In my evanston
The wintery gust hit my face. My dog whines as if he says “Please take me out”.
“No Marley it’s too cold” I say with a stern face.
He whines, he cries, he begs, too. He cried as if he pleads “ Take me out now!!!”
My sleepy self have no other choice. His cuteness got to me as I saw him lay down on the floor. I get my light jacket, the leash and walk outside.
Brrrrrrr… I’m cold. I should have brought a coat. But I keep on walking with my dog.
His big coat mockes me. And my dog struts down the street. All warm and cozy. And me all wet and cold.
My dog has his jacket and his big fluffy coat. And me with my elmo pajama shirt, my moose pj pants and an old jacket with the words dance engraved in the front.
When we finished the walk and went home and the smell of hot chocolate tickle my nose. I drifted away with the fragrance leading me to the kitchen.
My little sister had a huge chocolate mushate. She announced “ If you want some, go and tell mom.”
I quickly rush to the kitchen and then opps… “OUCH!” I screamed. I noticed That I was suddenly on the floor. Luckily nothing felt broken or bruised. I realized I tripped over my dog.
My dog was okay. He was back to normal as he followed my mom to the living room. Today must be his lucky day.
