This year has truley been amazing in Advanced Media Arts. I have learned so much and overall, Media Arts has been an amazing experience. I felt so lucky to be able to take part in Advanced Media Arts. I think next year that there should be a little more structure. All of the free time was really nice, but at times when I couldn't think of anything to do, having an exact plan would have been nice. I think you shouldn't do the Photo A Day Challenge next year, because most people didn't like that. You should do alot more tutorials on Photoshop, have 2 field trips(winter and spring) and do flash animation. The Portal Project was alot of fun. I never had done something like that before and the overlaying of images was really cool to me. I think that you should do something like that next year, but just not with portals. Maybe with other pictures. I think that you should take a couple of weeks in the beginning of the year to show the kids how to take videos in the auditorium and fully use all of the equiptment. The 6 word project was really fun and all of the things that we did with that. I think that maybe you should do a person of the week. Like show a couple of videos on like every Friday of a certain person who did something cool in the digital art world and then the following week the class could do some work like the certain person. My favorite thing that I did was The Sayings Gone Literal phase that I did in Photoshop. It was really fun. I think that you should also do more group projects
So I know that my last Weebly post a couple of weeks back, that I said that I had finished the movie for the Inside Out Project, but I actually only finished today. I had to go back in the movie and redo most of the editing. The people who filmed the movie zoomed in and zoomed out of each clip a little to much, and Mrs.Kushner said that it didn't look to good. So, I went back in the video and made the parts that looked messy, full screen. Then I just cropped the individual clips, so that there as a little bit of zoom. I also finished making the DVD. I added the Photo Slideshow with the song Human by The Killers and the You Think You Know Me clip that the AF
Today I finished working on the movie. While working on the movie I had to edit the clips from the play. I had to put everything together and choose clips where I thought that zooms were appropriate. After I got all of the zooms ready and the video clips looked nice, I had to align the sound. There were some parts of the video where the sound was louder or quieter than the rest of the video. I had to listen to each clip and try to make sure that the volume sounded the same.
After that, I had to chose the cover for the DVD. I chose the top 3 DVD covers and then printed it out. I then went around the class and asked everyone which was their favorite. Which over design had the most votes, would be the design that I used fro the cover. I then worked on the credits for the movie. Mrs.Kushner took pictures of the program and I put them in order and made a movie out of them. I added Humans by the Killer to the movie. Then I made the DVD out of it and I finished the project. The making of the movie took about 2 weeks i |
