In my Evanston I dance around
In my Evanston I see
leaves fall from the trees
In a variety of colors
the city lights shine over the buildings
I can hear the lake from far away
the waves rush over and crash into each other
In my Evanston people drive around and play their music so loud the ground shakes
In the cool seasons the dance competitions come around
In my Evanston there is beaches
coffee shops
clothing stores
malls
restaurants
bakery’s
In my Evanston christmas trees twinkle through windows
Sweaters and boots are seen all around
But in the summer people make s’mores in their backyards
