In My Evanston, there are many sports to play,
but football is the best for me.
The wind is warm as you run with the ball.
The adrenaline rushes
through you like a cat chasing a ball.
The crowd and players chant as loud as a train
chugging on the railroad.
Just standing on the sideline itself seems as
breathtaking as being on the field.
On the field the sunshines on the
beautiful green grass
Boom!!! the ball is kicked onto the opposing side.
Dash!!! The kick returner takes off trying to
get to the touchdown.
Then, there’s the offense the opposing side
I am supposed to guard.
Most of the time I am the linebacker.
I remember playing linebacker.
I see the opposing teams jerseys
whizzing past.
The running back was moving fast (FLASH!!!)
I crash into my teammate like two cars hitting
each other.
Bang!!! It happened concussion.
My teammate and I ran into each other.
It was sad because I was the only
one who had a concussion.
I called my brother to see
if we won but we lost, it was upsetting
because we were on a losing streak.
When being at the hospital was over,
we drove home and slept in my bed
and waited for it to start over.
