During this year, I worked a lot on video editing and the job isn't hard if you know the basics of video editing like the cutting the video, merging, effects, and also transitions at the right time. The job is more lengthy than other jobs in the video sections like filming or acting. The job is best with someone with precision and also with a pair of steady fingers to cut the right part and not cut something that isn't supposed to be cut. The job itself can be done by anyone, it's not really hard; Cut this, move that, add, this, delete that. The job gets harder when you want to do something more like a movie with effects, music, and other things to spice up the film. The job also gives shy people a chance to make movies without the whole acting in front of a camera and then being seen by a group of people.
My goals from 3/20 were to start the Louder Than a Bomb documentary and also to finish the Eagle Fly-By's side project. I did start on the documentary but I couldn't finish the side project because of the documentary, so I've started to put my full attention on the documentary and at points where I have time i'll work on the Eagle Fly-By's. All I've done since 3/20 is work on the documentary which is a lot bigger than what I initially thought. What I've learned from the project is that I should really try to work as much as I can on the documentary since I don't have a lot of time to finish the documentary and also polish it real nice. What i'm working on still is the documentary. I need to finish the rough draft of the documentary and then to the rest of the documentary. My goal for when I get back from Spring Break is to continue the documentary and then finish it.
My plans for this third trimester is the Louder Than A Bomb documentary with Michela, we're both video editors and also the camera crew we are going to finish the project either on April 28th or before and also the Eagle Fly-By's with Evan Couch and also Charles Solonka, I'm the editor, Evan is the interviewer and Charlie is the camera man. We're hopefully going to finish the project by the end of the week.
In this trimester I was doing a lot of things that involved movies; Spanish, BHM, and also my iMovie Editing Movie (that title is still my favorite title ever). Other things that I've been doing is the film recording for the Louder Than A Bomb documentary which is in the making but besides that that is all that i've done this passing trimester which doesn't seem like much work but it was difficult for me which was extremely difficult because of the importing (ARGH!!) which took forever and was extremely annoying and hindered the movies.
This week I started putting the BHM Assembly recording from last friday. I couldn't watch the Assembly with my own eyes because of being extremely late and other things, so this let's me watch the assembly which was great. My favorite part was the poets.
This week I was finishing the iMovie where I had didnt have enough time to finish it but with the help of Mrs. Kushner and the other students that helped a lot because if it was just me I probably wouldn't have had enough time to finish it on time.
I finished the imports and I wanted to take a break from iMovie because I needed to work on it in for Social Studies so I need a break from all the iMovie and importing and editing and stuff....
This is all I saw during all of last week. I also saw was nothing at all and this was what I saw during all of this week and last week which was soooooo much "fun".
