The way a friend and I posed represented the hatred and dislike in the poem. We are turning away from each other and it seems like we're both shaking our heads, while thinking negative thoughts about the other person. The words such as, "Long gone and never to resurface" really describe the situations that so many people are facing. Our poses help give people visual ideas of the poem. In this picture, I am shaking hands with another person. This represents the "ideal-ness" I was envisioning in my poem. People help each other a lot and we are always standing up for them.
In my old town
People get on each others' nerves and bullying is everywhere Friendships are lost and hatred brews Friends tired and angry Long gone and never to resurface Life is good but you can't have everything In my ideal town People are shaking hands and hugging each other Hatred is exiled and kindness reigns Protecting and helping Justly giving service and never abandoning others Always help for the good and receive kindness in return |
