Today, me and Hannah want to get interviewed because we have not been interviewed by someone working on the camera.
I made a man with red hair in photoshop.
Today, I want to finish the game, and finalize everything! We ended up painting the little cardboard pieces with the words, and letting them dry for tomorrow.
Me and my group has created a game that involves knocking down bottles with a ball, and getting your candy prize at the end. Name: Defeat Failure.
Quote: Something as simple as a box has transformed into an arcade game. The structure, the details, the cardboard, it all amazes me at how it has come together. I love looking at our project, and saying " I did this" Today, me and Hannah will work on our sign for the game. We made one out of the two signs that said " Defeat"
Today, we put the two big boxes together, and finalized the game.
My goal for today is to finish everything, and finalize the structure. We ended up outlining the little candies, and the logos.
My goal for today is to paint at least two of the letters. We ended up painting all of the letters, and outlining them in black paint.
My goal for today is to finish painting. We ended up painting one of the letters, and the little pieces of candy.
1. So far, my group has basically put together the whole construction of the game. We are working on little details like painting, and putting extra foam inside of the boxes. We have taken the stickers of of the bottles, and are writing the words with sharpie. We are also making a support for the bottom boxes, and printing out little candy logos for the prizes.
2. Some challenges that my group faced where deciding on how the support system was going to work. If we had a support that didn't have an opening in it, then no one would be able to sit behind, and hand out candy through the holes. We ended up creating a support that has an opening, but is also sting enough to support the game to it's full ability. 3. Like I hit on before, we made a different type of support that does it's job, but also accommodates the actions that are going on behind it. 4. The next step for my group is to paint the bottom box with letters, and symbols, but to also keep the integrity of the cardboard. 5. My favorite part about this project so far, is being able to completely build something out of such a basic tool like cardboard. It really amazes me how much we have accomplished, and our ability to build something out of scratch this incredible. 6. The most difficult part of this project was putting together the two main boxes, and making sure they stay together nicely. |
