We were inspired by Chess Rumble to make this project. We wanted our photos and poems to be like the first page of Chess Rumble. Finally, we traced the pictures to make them look more like Jesse Joshua Watson’s umble. We did this by taking poems with different poses, and writing poems about them. Our’s was different because we took a negative pose and a positive pose. We put the positive one in color, and the negative one in black and white. We then put in the text. Finally, we traced out photos, so they would look more like Jesse Joshua Watson’s style.
To edit this, I made it black and white, to show that it was not supposed to be happy. I cropped it so the main focus would be me, but there would be room for the text. I put the text in on the side, so it would stand out against the light bricks. When I took this photo, I was thinking about how the people who actually are at the butt of a lot of jokes feel. I thought that they must be lonely, because a lot of people make fun of them. I basically acted like I was that person, and took this picture. This is a serious problem, and it can be solved easily if no one made fun of anyone else. For this photo, I turned up the color saturation, so it would seem happier. Then, I cropped it with room for the words and me. I put in the text so it would stand out, but not take away from the rest of the picture. I wanted this picture to give off a more positive vibe. So I thought, hmm smiles are happy, and I took this picture. I wanted to show that if everyone is nice to each other, everyone would be happy, and everyone would be smiling.
If everyone actually did this, we could all be friends. In the world,
Jokes are made, Jokes spread like wildfires, People feel insulted They get mad, friendships are broken, If everyone stopped, No one would be mad, just stop In the world, kind words are said, people are happy, friendships are made, more people should do this, everyone could be friends, people should make an effort, to reach this |
