To me, this means not judging a book by it's cover. Not looking at someone and thinking you know everything about them. I think if I were to make people pose for this statement, I would make them choose a face that shows who they are on the inside and not just a simple smile because a smile can mean so much. I also think it would be cool if we got a statement from each person about what their personal mission statement is and (pirnt it out and) tape it by their portrait and not just record it.
In this photo, I see a glass of water with a green cloud sprouting from the top. I got this idea from when you pour milk into coffee or tea and you just see the milk cloud combine into the black of the coffee/tea. I would say that the best thing about this piece is the focus and detail. If you look closely, you can see such beauty in a drop of food coloring. If I could do this again, I would find a better background that makes it pop out a bit more. I just want the viewer to notice and appreciate the beauty that can be made from the small things in life. When shooting this photo I learned about perspective, lighting, and focus while taking this photo.
This week I didn't really do anything. I helped some people with their project and took pictures. I discovered the extrude filter which is really cool.
I was taking pictures of the lake at night and I moved the camera slightly. It made the bottom picture. In photoshop, i used polar coordinates and it made it look really cool.
This week i worked on various edits. I was just playing around with photoshop and testing the effects. I also editied a picture of my face, Lorde, and Regina Spektor.
