You think you know me? Come and listen to my words. I’ll tell you that I more than just another girl. I have a voice and I’m not going to wait for your permission to speak. I will not accept your judgments of me at first glance. I am more than that. I am not afraid of being heard when I need to speak my mind. I will not fit into a stereotype. Don’t judge me. Instead, listen to my words.
I haven't updated in a while, so this is what has been happening in the past couple days. I wasn't here 2 weeks ago when Leah and Chimere were doing most of the filming. Since then we have put the videos in sequential order and edited. For our words we say "Nothing Will Work" first, on a slide with a black background. Then, to make the effect of nothing will work really POP we made the video in Black and White, also rerunning scenes to make it look as if the mannequin was broken. We also made sure that the falling scenes were in different angles, and we slowed down one to make it more dramatic. Then we added a slide of the words "Until You Do" with again a black background. Then we made the video turn color, to make the effect of now someone fixed the video so it works. After that we played around with the speed of the video, finally slowing down considerably at the end of the video. We debated using blur in Photoshop to blur the background, but we just left it as is. Now we are working on the soundtrack.
Today we editd, mostly cutting and speeding up some less important scenes, and slowing down scenes that give a more dramatic feature to the movie. We are almost done
This means that we are more than what people see at first glance. We are bigger than stereotypes. We do not give hate, and our words are louder than hate. My picture is going to be me, standing in front of the camera and staring straight at the camera, to show I am defiant and powerful. Or a picture with me smiling and looking genuially happy. I think everyone should make a different face. Or maybe a face that is exactly different than what peoples stereotypes might be about them.
