In my dream house, I wanted to bring girly and classy/modern together. There are many elements including the chandelier and the T.V which make my room classy. The girly elements in my room is my Purple theme, and my big purple girly bed with fluffy pink pillows. Behind these eyes of pain, there is a world yet to discover. Not all of life is sadness and sorrow. Sometimes if you look on the bright side, your rainbow will shine through the darkness. Life may be full of death and crying, but if you make that glass full, it can be full of sunshine and love.
For this project, we got into groups of three, and went in the courtyard to take shots of each other. For my photos, I wanted my focus to be me, and the greenery around me. My partners did a very good job of completing my request. After we took the photos, we edited them in Preview, and play around with the tint and color for our two experimental photos. Then we used contrast and exposure to make three nice black and white photos. Lastly, we cropped out unnecessary background. My favorite part of this project was taking photos of other people. For our self portraits we first took ten pictures of ourselves in photo booth. After that, we chose our best five to edit. Next, we went to a program called Preview. This program lets you make simple or extreme edits to your photos. The three main things we had to focus on while editing was contrast, making your lights light, and your darks dark. As well as exposure, how light your photo was, and cropping, which is taking out unnecessary background. We had to edit three black and white photos, and two experimental photos, in which we could play with the tint, saturation, and cropping of the photo to make it look crazy. My favorite part of this project was being able to control taking the pictures, and feeling like a photographer. |
