Almost finished with my comic life portfolio. I think im making pretty good progress for such an unfamiliar widget.
today, i used comic life to document all of my projects, tries and fails of the 1st trimester. I am not used to using Comic Life but this will be a learning experience. This is what i have so far.
Yesterday Tierra and I received the wooden figure that Mrs. Kushner gave us. We were excited to test out all of our ideas. Though this was a cool prop, there were cons just as there were pros. The figure was flexible and very human-like but We were restricted from certain positioning because the figure couldn't stand up on it's own. As you can see in our stop-motion video the figure is leaning on on the stair rails. These are things we're brainstorming to fix on our second try. Tierra and I used a prop that i brought from home, my stuffed dog. We used a stop motion app moving it inch by inch to tell a short story. It was just for practice until we got the wooden figure
Here is an example of a stop motion vine. Its a wooden figure who rolls around in bed, imitating a person who cant fall asleep.
http://weknowvines.com/i-cant-sleep-vine/#sthash.t0AGtAO0 I made my first vine video. we're still working out the corks but its going well.
while researching i found a stop motion vine of a little wooden figure who couldn't fall asleep.
It gave me the idea to use an object like a stuffed animal, doll etc. to make a similar vine. We finally have finished the snow plow! I am very proud of our work and am happy to put my name on it. I think we have a real chance in winning the contest. Last year Chute lost, breaking our winning streak. This year, we can make a comeback!
