This is a picture of myself. I took it front of my closet doors because I thought it would be a cool background and it goes with the poem. I decided to take this picture of me smiling and laughing because it showed that I was being myself. For my editing I wanted to bring out the colors. When taking the picture, I wanted to leave space to my left, for my poem. My poem is about people at school who are always being their selves. In other words this is the happy version of my black and white photo.
I loved this project! It was a lot of fun. My first picture is a black and white photo of myself looking at my words. The reason I did this was because my poem is about not being yourself and I wanted to this pose to match my words. Anette had this idea for me to look at my words and she took the picture. I really liked how it was half of my body in the picture too. In my black and white poem I wanted to talk about not being yourself because it was about what really happens at school.
