We started working with a long exposure camera app on our iPads to try light painting. It was fun but I don't think I want to work on it as a long term project maybe just play with it for a few days. I didn't have any pictures from my iPad of the light painting so I don't have any pictures to show as example but I'll make sure to make more paintings to post on the blog.
I've been working on the iPad infomercial. We're almost finished with filming and editing, we just need a couple more scenes. I'm excited, I think when it's done, it will look really cool.
I designed this phone case. The last time I tried to print a phone case, it turned out that it was meant for the wrong phone so I'm going to try again. I hope it woks.
Today me and Diane finished designing the snow plow. Diane, Nia, and I all went up to Ms. Adler's room to ask some advanced art students to help us with painting. Ruby also said she would like to help. Now there's a total of 10 people to work on the project (including us).
Something I want to 3D print is a phone case.
Here are some programs I'd like to use: Photoshop CS6, Tinkercad, Google Sketch-Up, 1 2 3D Design thingiverse.com Today I want to figure out a way to stop the roof of our time machine from concaving. I also want to figure out if we want to write scripts for our characters and if so, what to write in them.
Today my goal is to start finalizing the costumes. I want to paint the breastplate and finish coloring the sword.
Reflection on the Cardboard Challenge:
I think the Cardboard Challenge is all about working as a team to overcome obstacles. In my group we had many challenges that we had to cooperate in order to overcome. One example of this is that our group wanted silver paint to make our time machine look more futuristic. Unfortunately, we didn't have silver paint. What we did to fix this was we added silver paper to the sides. This added texture as well as color and, when we added lights on the sides, it made the cardboard glow. we worked together to fix this problem we came across and in doing this, we leaned that working together in life is a great way to deal with the difficulties that come with it. |
