Using the photo editing site Pixlr-o-matic, 6th grade students edited their favorite pictures that they took for their In My Evanston Poem Project. Students learned how filters, borders, and lighting effects can enhance their photos and change the mood of their images. Many students also liked being able to play with the effects to see how the same photo could be modified to create completely different versions. Nice work, 6th graders!
