Congratulations to the following 7th and 8th grade Chute Media Arts students who had their work displayed at the Northshore Center for Performing Arts last week for the SOAR Art Exhibit. Amelia Crowe Grace Fay Greta Ingraham Nina Laurent Kyle Kersnar Brianna Nielsen Chimere Riley-Garrett Chris Wolfe Chute Media Arts student work on display at the Art Show. For our first unit in Media arts, we explored the Inside Out Project. We saw how portraits can be interesting just focusing on the face without any extra props. We worked on making cool poses and different angles so that the photos displayed our emotions and expressions and showed a lot about us!

He has illustrated children books, CD covers, and magazines. A couple books he illustrated that we are reading here at Chute are Chess Rumble by G. Neri and Ghetto Cowboy by G. Neri. He visited Haiti after the earthquake in 2010 and wrote a book to raise money to support the Haitian people, called HOPE FOR HAITI!
